This set of 4 Christmas mug rugs has applique elements. Applique is easy to do. We will show you how with detailed instructions. The background is motif quilted (star or snowflakes). The designs are completely stitched in the hoop. No additional sewing machine or hand stitching required. Send these mug rugs as a Christmas card in an A7 envelope. These mug rugs are not just for a mug; they can also be displayed on a small easel to add small festive touches to your holiday decorating.

You will receive a total of 8 mug rug files: one with and another without wording on the labels. That way you can insert your own phrase or name. The design comes with detailed instructions (including photos) in pdf format.

1 quality cotton fabric for the front center fabric
1 contrast / coordinating fabric for the side borders and back
1 small piece of cotton fabric for the Christmas tree
1 small piece of fabric for the label
Steam a Seam 2 (SAS2)
Painter’s, masking or medical paper tape
Stabilizer: Polymesh (woven, cutaway)
Mini iron
