Machine Embroidery Design FormatsAll designs come as a zip archive file that when unzipped or extracted contain the following embroidery file formats:
DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
There will also be an "Instructions" folder that contains a PDF file that has step by step instructions with many photos to help with your embroidery design.
This fun placemat can be worked up for children or adults. Change the colors to fit the age and taste of the individual you are making it for. Personalize it with an approx. ¾” tall alphabet (included are the capital letters of our ¾” Chicago font).
The placemat sides are quilted with a balloon quilting motif; the sides with a geometric motif, and the center is stipple quilted and embroidered. Most of the placemat is done as an in the hoop project; a small amount of machine sewing is required. The binding is actually the backing wrapped around to the front. It’s easy to do we show you how.
