This mug rug is stitched up quickly. The right side is quilted with diagonal lines whereas the left side is stipple quilted. The oval is reverse appliqued. This is a simple technique and is explained and demonstrated in the write up. The design comes with thorough instructions in pdf format with clear photos.

This project is entirely completed in the hoop; no additional sewing machine or hand stitching required. The mug rug fits easily into an A7 envelope and could be sent as a greeting card.
