Some mug rugs are best used on a small display shelf rather than as a mug coaster. This is probably true of this set of mug rugs as well. This project is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The background is stipple quilted and the side borders are attached during the embroidery process.
