All designs come as a zip archive file that when unzipped or extracted contain the following embroidery file formats:
DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
There will also be an "Instructions" folder that contains a PDF file that has step by step instructions with many photos to help with your embroidery design.

In preparation:
Cut 2 pieces of fabric — about 5″x5″ — one for the front of the pin one for the back of the pin
Cut 1 5×5″ piece of Timtex or stiffened felt
Vilene or other water soluble stabilizer
You will also need a pin back (the actual pin part).
