This pillow cover for the 7×11 hoops displays the well known scripture from Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV). It is made as a mostly in the hoop project. The background is stipple quilted and the contrast strips and borders are applied during the first hooping. During a second very quick hooping the Velcro strips get applied to the back. A small amount of machine stitching is required to complete the pillow cover.

Look at the design carefully and notice the details: The crown of thorns at the top, the cross and the open Bible in the center. The lower portion of the design is shaped like a heart reflecting Christ’s love. And even the capital lettering has small thorns protruding as a reminder of Christ’s suffering. There also is a small piece of wood reflective of the cross.
