Some mug rugs are best used on a small display shelf rather than as a mug coaster. This is probably true of this nostalgic mug rug as well. This project is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The background is quilted and the borders are attached during the embroidery process. The pine trees on the left side are appliqued. There are 2 stitch files in your download. One with and another without the embroidery designs.
