This boy doll is the “brother” to our Blossom doll, an in-the-hoop project for 5×7 hoops. The doll comes with patterns for an embroidered top, a pair of pants (with functional little pocket on the back of the pants), and a vest. The clothing items are mostly completed in the hoop, with some machine and/or hand sewing required. You have the option of appliqueing boots to the legs or having plain legs and feet so you can put purchased doll shoes or boots on the little fellow. The belly button is a little lasso…., just for the fun of it!
Also part of your purchase is a pattern for a child’s lined drawstring backpack with an applique cowboy pocket on the outside. The pocket designs can be used on other child items such as shirts, quilts, etc. In addition, you are receiving the “Giddy Up” design that’s on the little doll’s t-shirt in a boy size version. You also are receiving an applique sheriff’s badge design for use in a child’s room or on boy clothing.
Detailed instructions for the doll, the clothing items, as well as the application of yarn hair are part of your purchase. If you intend to buy a wig, a size 8 wig fits the doll perfectly. Links are provided for the purchase of such wigs, should you decide to use wigs rather than making yarn hair.
Doll finished size: 11.5”
