This patriotic mug rug is entirely stitched in the hoop. No additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The center background is stipple quilted and the pieced corners are applied as part of your embroidery. Thorough and detailed instructions as well as many photos will guide you through the process of making these mug rugs.
