Description
These little drawstring bags can hold candy, chocolates, small treasures, and could even become little sachets with lavender. Great for Valentine’s and for birthday favors. They can be used over and over again. The bags are fully lined; no seams visible. There are 3 bags with applique designs in your download, as well as one without the designs for a total of 4 bags. The bags can be made with or without a boxed bottom. Detailed instructions with photos are included in your download.
This project requires 2 quick hoopings.

Supplies Needed:
- 2 quality cotton fabrics (for outside and the lining)
- 1 scrap piece of cotton fabric for the applique designs
- Ribbon (satin, grosgrain or organza) — 5/8″ wide
- Steam a Seam 2 or similar bonding product
- Embroidery adhesive spray (optional)
- Medium weight tear away stabilizer
- Small, sharp, curved tip scissors
- Mini Clover or Wedge iron (optional)
- Spray sizing or spray starch
- Painter’s tape
