This mug rug instantly brings to mind summer and warm weather. This project is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The slice of watermelon is partly appliqued and the ricrac borders are stitched on the embroidery machine. The side borders are attached during the embroidery process.
There are 2 stitch files in your download. One with the center design and another with the ricrac borders and quilting stitches only.
