This woodland themed mini quilt is perfect for decorating a baby nursery. The background is quilted in the hoop and the various borders get attached during the embroidery. There is a “sleeve” in the back that will make it easy to hang the quilt. The sleeve, too, is applied during the embroidery process. No additional hand or sewing machine stitching is required.

There are top and bottom borders wide enough for inserting a baby’s name and birth date. For the name and date we used our 3/4″ tall Pauline font. The design can also be stitched without the name and date. If you choose that option, just use some fabrics that coordinate with the woodland theme of the mini quilt.

• 2 or 3 contrasting/coordinating quality cotton fabrics for:

• Steam a Seam 2 (SAS2) or similar product like Heat n Bond Lite
