This mini quilt is mostly done as an in the hoop project. The center is quilted and Santa is part applique. The borders are applied during the embroidery. Only the faux binding needs to be stitched down with the sewing machine. The faux binding is actually the backing fabric brought forward to the front. Thorough instructions with many photos are part of your download. The stitch count is high on this project because great care has been taken to ensure excellent thread coverage, even on black fabric, while at the same time making sure the design is still very stitchable and pliable.
