This mini quilt is mostly done as an in the hoop project. The center is quilted and the borders are applied during the embroidery. Only the faux binding needs to be stitched down with the sewing machine or hand stitched along the top and bottom edges only. The faux binding is actually the backing fabric brought forward to the front. The optional trim border is also part of your embroidery.
