Machine Embroidery Design FormatsAll designs come as a zip archive file that when unzipped or extracted contain the following embroidery file formats:
DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
There will also be an "Instructions" folder that contains a PDF file that has step by step instructions with many photos to help with your embroidery design.

This mug rug is entirely constructed in the hoop. No machine or handsewing required. The center fabric is quilted and reverse appliqued. It’s easy to do and we will show you how. Thorough and detailed instructions as well as many photos will guide you through the process of making this mug rug.
You will receive the mug rug with the center design as well as one without the design. In addition, your download includes a printable coordinating tag/card in pdf format. The card explains what a mug rug is and how to launder it.

Fusible fleece (heavier weight like Pellon 971 F)
2 contrasting/coordinating cotton fabrics (center front; back and borders)
Steam a Seam 2, Soft Fuse or similar bonding product
Embroidery adhesive spray (optional)
Polymesh (preferred) or medium weight tear away stabilizer
Clover Mini or Clover Wedge iron (optional but preferred)
Spray sizing or spray starch (optional)
Painter’s tape
Small, sharp, curved tip scissors (Fiskars 4″ craft scissors are shown)
