This cover for the 7×11 hoops is intended for 9.75×7.50″ composition books. This in the hoop project is completed in 3 quick hoopings. It is stipple quilted and the front is pieced together while in the hoop. There is a pocket in the back to hold a pen and some miscellaneous items; the sides of the spine are finished with a decorative stitch. 2.50″ jelly roll strips work well for the vertical stripes. The cover is completely lined. No machine or handstitching required. Sewing machine stitching is optional for the faux binding on the back pocket.

This cover takes an ordinary composition book to an extraordinary journal and gift.
