Hi, I just finished writing the Emily Bag Tutorial and feel like I wrote a long lecture – like in my “old” teaching days!! It took me about two days to put this together and I hope that it is to your liking. Let me know what you think of it. I also made available for you two labels similar to what I have on my bag – only with the space for the name empty, of course. I made them available in 4×4 and 5×7 formats. Enjoy!!

Hi Oma, Your tutorial for your Emily bag is Fantastic!! The pictures and details on how to make this bag are phenomenal! Thank you so much for the tutorial and the designs!! I definitely have your tutorial in my files now!! I will definitely be looking forward to more of your super great tutorials!!!

Oma, Your Emily Bag is fabulous, and the tutorial is so clear. Great job! One thing that really struck me (and I wondered why I had never thought of it) is covering webbing for the handles. How clever are you!!!!
By the way, the little boy and girl add-ons are so cute! I’ve tried playing with then on some bibs, and although my attempts are not even half as cute as yours, I’m still happy with the results. The embroidery was the fun part, now I just have to sew them together . . . ugh!
Thanks for your kind comments. So glad the designs and the tutorial are helpful. I really appreciate the feedback.
Just attempting to find the actual tutorials and can seem to. I see comments and notice that they are ready, but where?
Thank You
Nan
If you look at the top of the home page, there is a category called “tutorials”. Click on that and you will get to three tutorials – one of them is for the Emily bag.
Hope this helps.
This is a very nice tote… not floppy like so many… I will be giving this one a try… take care… (fellow SF girl)..Barbara Johnson
If you have any questions at all, feel free to let me know and I’ll try to help! Thanks for visiting.
