Monika, I have almost forgotten what a beautiful garden can look like. We are so dry that very little is alive in our yards…we are all losing trees and shrubs at a frightening speed. We are thankful for those who have been blessed by abundant rain (even too much in some places). We were traveling this weekend and went very few miles without being able to see the results of fire at some time in the past few months. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures! ;>) Mary Sue
Mary Sue, thanks for visiting Oma’s Place and my blog. My heart goes out to you and your fellow Texans, as it does to those who have suffered great losses by excess water. I feel blessed but fully realize it’s undeserved blessedness! We lived in Texas for about a year – way down by the Mexican border and I remember the heat (106 every day in the summer) and the dryness. – Thanks for writing.
What I love is the fact that you already knew about this tiny spot and had already made is it’s own special place before you captured it with your camera. I believe it is the attention to small details that makes any project something really special. Thanks for sharing!
